The Department of Zoology was established in the year 1993 at Govt. P.G. College Purola. At present Department of Zoology is affiliated to Sri Dev Suman University since 2018. The department offers three-year Graduate (B.Sc.) and two years Post-Graduate (M.Sc. Zoology) courses. The department provides theoretical and practical exposure of various fields in Zoology. The departmental laboratory is well equipped with latest instruments and fully functional. The department is currently implementing the National Education Policy-2020 curriculum beginning with the session 2022-23.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Different competitions like Quiz, Poster, Seminar etc, are organized by Zoology Association every year for Zoology Students.
