The Department of Chemistry of Govt. P.G. College Purola was established in 1996. At present Department of Chemistry, of Sri Dev Suman University offers three year undergraduate and 2 year postgraduate course. There are 120 seats in U G and 20 Seats in P G. The students have been getting good placements in the Govt. and private sector after completing their Degrees from the department.
